Me and my husband went here for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The service was amazing! It was so romantic and the food was amazing! We are definitely coming back and I recommend to anyone passing through or staying by Sedona.
I was recommended this restaurant by my aunt and I came in here with high expectations that the food would be good as it was my first time eating Eastern European food. I ordered the Slavic lunch special which came within 10-15 minutes. The bread and salad starting course was great especially with the pesto sauce. The main course of the soup and blintzes was warm and comforting with great flavors. The service was impeccable as well. The atmosphere was relaxing with soft music playing with beautiful decor. This experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend dining here.
This place is a gem! They have a nice dining room but we loved the outdoor seating. The misters were refreshing and it's so wonderful that the patio is dog friendly. We had some really delicious food - the lunch meal deals are worth springing for. While there is no kids menu, there are delicious food choices that kids will love. Mine certainly did! The portions are great and we enjoyed our authentic meal. We will be back!
My husband and I are from Phoenix and decided to get away for a few days to explore the Camp Verde area. We did our research and saw that this restaurant had good reviews so we decided to try it out for lunch. We are so glad we did. We love trying different food. My husband order the Italian special and I had the Astoria International special which were the perogies. They were both a 3-course meal to include dessert. We were thrilled! Everything was delicious and the owner and staff were attentive, friendly and delightful. We definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch or evening.
This is a lovely gem! The food is delicious and well done. We all got something different and everyone loved their food, from the flat bread pizza, to the chicken Parmesan sandwich with crispy fries and a salad to the Hungarian goulash . The portions are generous too! The owners name is Svetlana and she puts thoughtful care into every dish served. This is no chain, it is a culinary experience that you must enjoy!
Fabulous meal! The presentation of the food was terrific and tasted even better! We had a mix of vegan and meat eaters and we were all more than happy with our options and what we selected. Falafel gyros, hummus mushroom plate, falafel wrap, Italian beef In ciabatta roll, French fries, starter salad…..all delicious! Definitely make your way here. You won’t be disappointed!
What a wonderful surprise, when we found this lovely restaurant in Camp Verde while visiting the area. The number, and variety, of international dishes are amazing, and the quality of the food is excellent. There are daily specials offered from all over the world. I had New Zealand lamb ribs that were excellent, while my partner had the Moscow version of a Russian chicken dish that was absolutely amazing. We were so impressed, we went back the next day for an early dinner. Again, we had 2 daily specials, German roulade and short ribs with mashed potatoes, both excellent and beautifully prepared. Also, the bar has exquisite international alcohol offerings. Both inside dining room, as well as the outdoor patio are so comfortable. Dogs are allowed outside, and our dog was so well received.
This was one of those hidden hole in the wall gems that everyone needs to come find! It's family owned and operated. The whole family is super nice and our service was awesome. The restaurant is spacious inside with a full bar and they also have a dog friendly patio if you want to enjoy the food and the weather! I read so many delicious reviews and had a hard time choosing but I went with the Italian lunch special and my husband's got the American lunch special. It comes with bread and eggplant caviar, a soft drink, a salad with house dressing, your main dish and a dessert. We also got the veggie spring rolls. The Spaghetti con Saccicia was to die for! It was rich and flavorful. Very well balanced. I could eat that over and over! The burger was cooked to perfection, the bread is soft and fluffy and compliments it so well! The spring rolls were a happy surprise! The sauce it comes with is sweet and salty and the rolls are perfectly balanced inside. Will order those again for sure! And both the tiramisu and the cheesecake were amazing but I was more partial to the cheesecake. It was rich but not overpowering. 10 out of 10 would eat here again. Highly recommend!
What a wonderful surprise to stumble upon! As soon as I walked in I was taken back by the beautiful decor and also saw they have a full bar. The owner was so welcoming. You can tell she takes great pride in this delightful place. The menu is endless and full of all of the top favorites from many cultures. I've never seen a menu so diverse! Nor have I seen some of these dishes offered in a 100 mile radius. Can't believe I never knew about this place! I wasn't very hungry but couldn't help but order a dinner and an appetizer. The plating was beautiful. The portions were very big and the prices were very low. I can't wait to go back and try everything, some foods I really miss out here. I laughed when I left and noticed the name "Astoria". She captures that neighborhood well. I am now dreaming of the pistachio cake I passed up that she claims to have made with a feathery cloud plucked from the sky.
Absolutely a gem of a restaurant and the employees were incredible. Our food was absolutely fantastic. It might take a minute to get it because I believe they make everything from a scratch and it was well worth the wait. My arugula, beet salad with goat cheese and dates was so fresh and crisp. My husband got the Italian sausage sandwich with french fries he really enjoyed the sandwich. The fries would’ve been better if they weren’t cooked in seed oil.. We loved the upscale feeling for sure of the tablecloths, and decor. The place was so clean and the lighting was good. we honestly can’t wait to go back. I WOULD RECOMMEND
